About AMR Mindset
A space built from real life.
AMR Mindset was created from lived experience with mental health, recovery and the reality that life doesn’t always go to plan.
I wanted to create the kind of space I once needed myself — somewhere that feels honest, calm and human. A place where mental wellbeing isn’t about having everything figured out, but about understanding yourself a little better and finding practical ways to keep moving forward.
Everything at AMR Mindset is created with that purpose in mind: simple tools for real people navigating real life.
Mental wellbeing, without the pressure.
Looking after your mental wellbeing doesn’t have to mean completely changing your life.
Sometimes it’s learning to understand what you’re feeling. Sometimes it’s slowing down, reflecting, setting a boundary or simply getting through a difficult day.
AMR Mindset is about making space for all of it — the progress, the setbacks and everything in between.
No toxic positivity. No expectation to have it all together.
Just practical tools, honest conversations and gentle support to help you understand yourself and keep moving forward.
Hi, I’m Ashlea.
AMR Mindset grew from my own experiences with mental health, recovery and rebuilding my life when things didn’t go the way I expected.
Those experiences changed the way I think about mental wellbeing. I learned that sometimes you don’t need another person telling you to “think positive” or have everything figured out. Sometimes you need to feel understood, learn what’s happening within yourself and have something practical to help you take the next step.
That’s what I want AMR Mindset to offer.
I’m not here to tell you how to live your life or promise that everything will suddenly become easy. I’m here to create thoughtful, accessible tools that encourage reflection, self-understanding and genuine wellbeing.
If something I create helps someone feel understood, supported or a little less alone, then AMR Mindset is doing what I created it to do.
What AMR Mindset stands for
-
Honesty
Mental wellbeing isn’t always neat or straightforward. AMR Mindset makes space for real experiences, difficult days and conversations that don’t need to be sugar-coated.
-
Understanding
The more we understand our thoughts, emotions and experiences, the better equipped we can become to navigate them. Everything here is designed to encourage curiosity rather than judgement.
-
Practical support
Small tools can make a meaningful difference. AMR Mindset focuses on resources you can actually use — whether you’re reflecting, rebuilding, learning about yourself or simply trying to get through today.
Created with care, not perfection.
AMR Mindset is built around lived experience, thoughtful reflection and a genuine interest in mental wellbeing.
The resources here are designed to help you learn, reflect and better understand yourself — not to tell you there is one “right” way to heal or navigate life.
I believe good mental wellbeing support should feel human. It should leave room for setbacks, different experiences and the fact that sometimes simply getting through the day is enough.
AMR Mindset will continue to grow and evolve, but the intention will remain the same:
to create honest, practical tools that help make mental wellbeing a little easier to understand and navigate.
Wherever you are, you’re welcome here.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.
Whether you’re looking for practical tools, trying to understand what you’re going through, supporting someone you love or simply taking some time for yourself, I hope AMR Mindset can be a place you come back to.
Take what helps. Go at your own pace.
